Missions info

This fall I am in Colorado Springs doing a Discipleship Training School with Youth with a Mission! I will be learning for 3 months about what it means to be a disciple and follow the Lord. Then I will head out on outreach in Nepal for 3 months which is a country in the 10/40 window. The 10/40 window is a portion of the world where people are the least reached when it comes to hearing about the gospel. I would love it if you could support me through prayer and if you feel led, financially as well.

DTS Updates

My DTS experience helped and taught me so much. Each week we had speakers come in to teach us about different aspects of faith and discipleship. We got to spend time together as a community worshipping and praying for people all over the world. We spent our time in small groups, doing different work duties around base, going out to evangelize, and just hanging around the with friends.I am very excited to announce I am doing a Discipleship Bible School (DBS) with YWAM Colorado Springs this spring! This is a three month program where we read through the Bible one time looking at the context and meaning of the scriptures. There is also an optional outreach that focuses on the Bible. Tho can include Bible translation or teaching about the Bible. I would love your prayer as I head into this next season of my life with YWAM. Also if you feel led to donate you can use the same link and put designated for Discipleship Bible School after march 8, or Venmo me at lianajoe, Thank you!

Nepal Updates

Nepal has been such a great experience for my team and I. We have had opportunities to visit peoples homes, clean up around the community, and share the gospel with people who have never heard it before! There are a couple different ways you can be praying for my team as well as the people and country of Nepal. Nepal has recently gone through a hard time with their government that has caused some riots in some of the cities. There is an election coming up in February that could cause more issues in the communities. Nepals main religion is Hinduism which has deep roots in their cultural. This makes it difficult for people to meet Jesus and come to him because of the shame it could cause. My team is praying for eyes to be opened and people to see the one true living God. My team personally could use prayer for health and safety as we travel and visit villages. We have so far been blessed with no accidents and no severe sickness and we are praying it stays that way!Thank you to everyone who has been supporting me during this time!
